Will my dog actually take it?

The good news is there are a few simple ways to make it easier, from hiding it in a favourite snack to mixing it into a small amount of food and keeping the routine calm and consistent. Here’s what tends to work best:

For small dogs, Methylene Blue Drops make smaller amounts easier and more precise than splitting a capsule.
Opened, into food
Twist the capsule open and stir the contents into a small bite of wet food. Methylene blue is nearly tasteless, so most dogs never notice.
Always offer water after
Keep it a calm moment — same time, same spot, praise like you mean it.
About the blue
if you open a capsule, the powder is a deep blue and it stains (hands, counters, fabric). Methylene blue can also tint your dog's saliva, stool, or urine blue-green for a little while — harmless and expected. Handle over a plate, not the carpet.
